Clarity II is a dual-wavelength laser that combines a 755nm alexandrite and a 1064nm long-pulsed Nd:YAG in a single platform. With its high melanin absorption, the 755nm wavelength suits epidermal blemishes and fine hair, while the longer 1064nm wavelength reaches deep dermal vessels and thicker hair follicles.
The pulse width is adjustable from 0.1ms, and spot sizes from 2 to 25mm are switched through a single optical fiber. Wavelength, pulse width, spot size, and energy are combined to match the depth and caliber of each lesion, establishing selective photothermolysis conditions so that heat accumulates only in the target tissue.
IntelliTrak technology delivers energy at the set density regardless of how fast the handpiece travels over the skin. Real-time temperature sensing is added on top of this, keeping treatment parameters consistent.
To protect the epidermis, cryogen is sprayed at the moment of each pulse, and the treatment proceeds without any gel application.

How long does the treatment take?
For full-face redness or pigment treatment, about 10 to 30 minutes. Hair removal depends on the area — around 5 minutes for a small zone such as the upper lip, and 30 minutes or more for larger areas such as the legs. Because the large spot passes quickly over the skin, even wide areas are finished relatively fast.
Does it hurt? Is anesthesia needed?
Cryogen is sprayed with each pulse to reduce the heat, so most treatments proceed without anesthesia. A brief stinging sensation, like the flick of a rubber band, is felt momentarily. For thicker vessels or pain-sensitive areas, numbing cream is applied before starting.
What about recovery and daily activities?
Redness, warmth, and mild swelling may appear after treatment but usually subside within a few hours to a day, and you can wash your face and wear makeup the same day. It is not a scab-forming procedure, so protective healing tape is usually unnecessary. Where vascular lesions were treated at stronger settings, small purplish spots may remain for a few days; avoid saunas, alcohol, and sun exposure during this period.
How many sessions, and at what interval?
Hair removal is performed in 5 to 10 sessions at 4-to-6-week intervals, following the hair growth cycle. For redness and pigment, a typical plan is one cycle of 3 to 5 sessions at 3-to-4-week intervals. The number of sessions is adjusted while monitoring lesion depth and response.
Can it be combined with other procedures?
It is often alternated with laser toning for deeper melasma or with regenerative lasers for acne scars. On the day of treatment, calming or regenerative care and skin boosters may follow. The order and spacing of procedures are decided after assessing your skin condition.
