NEOBEAM is a 1450nm diode laser. This wavelength is well absorbed by water and lipids, delivering thermal energy past the epidermis to the sebaceous glands located in the upper dermis.
Sebaceous glands are generally distributed 400–600㎛ below the skin surface, and the 1450nm wavelength concentrates heat in this zone, acting to reduce the size and activity of the glands and calm the inflammatory response.
To keep the epidermis from overheating, a cooling device sprays cryogen just before each pulse, protecting the skin surface while energy is delivered to the target depth.
According to the manufacturer's specifications, 6mm and 10mm spot sizes, 10–200ms pulse widths, and 1–10Hz repetition rates are available, so settings are tailored to the lesion area and sebum condition. It is a non-invasive approach that reaches the sebaceous glands with light alone, without incisions or needle insertion.

How long does the treatment take?
For the full face, laser irradiation takes about 15–20 minutes. It can proceed without separate medication or preparation, so the overall visit tends to be short.
Does it hurt? Is anesthesia used?
The cooling spray rapidly chills the skin surface just before each pulse, so the procedure can be performed without local anesthesia. You feel a momentary stinging, hot sensation, and numbing cream is used selectively on sensitive areas.
What about recovery and returning to daily life?
The treated area may temporarily redden, but this mostly subsides within the day, allowing an immediate return to daily life. After treatment, apply moisturizer and repair cream frequently, keep up sunscreen, and avoid exfoliating products for about a week.
How many sessions, and at what interval?
The standard course is 3–5 or more sessions at 2–4 week intervals. If sebum production is heavy and lesions are widespread, the number of sessions may be increased and continued as maintenance care.
Which treatments pair well with it?
Combined with extraction and scaling, energy can be delivered to the sebaceous glands after clogged pores have been cleared. For locally recurring lesions, Agnes is often combined, and for widespread inflammation, Gold PTT—planned in stages.
