Juvelook Volume
Used for volume-loss concerns such as sunken cheeks, hollow temples, and a flattened front-cheek line. High-content PDLLA is injected in divided portions into the deep dermis and subcutaneous layer so that collagen gradually builds up, which helps improve volume progressively rather than by filling.
How It Works
How This Equipment Works
Juvelook Volume belongs to the same PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) family as Juvelook, with a higher content formulated for volume replenishment. One 200mg vial consists of 170mg of PDLLA and 30mg of hyaluronic acid.
Unlike fillers, which occupy space with the material itself, it is classified as a collagen stimulator that creates volume by inducing the body's own collagen production.
After hydration, it is injected into the deep dermis and subcutaneous layer, and in some areas down to the deep supraperiosteal plane. Instead of a single large bolus, a micro-bolus technique of dividing small amounts is recommended, and after injection, vibration and massage spread the particles evenly.
Because PDLLA breaks down gradually while collagen builds up, the volume settles in over several weeks rather than immediately after injection.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the treatment take?
Injection is generally completed within 30 minutes. An additional 20–30 minutes is needed for numbing ointment application and waiting. Including the finishing vibration and massage, it is best to allow about an hour.
Is it painful? How is anesthesia handled?
Numbing ointment is applied before the procedure, and a cannula is used for deep-layer injection to reduce irritation and the risk of bruising. With the micro-bolus technique of small divided amounts, the burden per injection point is low.
When can I return to daily life?
Daily life is possible right after the procedure, and temporary swelling or bruising subsides within a few days. For several days after treatment, avoid heavy drinking, saunas, hot baths, and strenuous exercise. Following the massage instructions helps the particles settle evenly.
How many sessions and at what interval?
The standard is a total of 3 sessions at 4–5 week intervals, with at least 4 weeks between sessions. When 3 or more sessions are completed, results are reported to last over a year. If you have an underlying condition such as an autoimmune disease, screening before treatment is necessary.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Areas that need immediate volume can be handled in parallel with hyaluronic acid fillers, dividing the roles. Combining it with lifting devices or toxin helps improve contours. Since the injection plane differs by area, the combination plan is decided during consultation.
