Belotero Revive is a skin booster from Merz Aesthetics of Germany, a viscoelastic gel containing 20mg/mL of cross-linked hyaluronic acid together with 17.5mg/mL of glycerol. Unlike conventional fillers that add volume, it focuses on conditioning the skin's own moisture and elasticity environment.
With Merz's proprietary CPM (Cohesive Polydensified Matrix) technology, zones of higher and lower density coexist within the gel, which is designed to spread evenly into the surrounding tissue and settle after injection.
Injection targets the mid-to-deep dermis of the cheek area, distributed shallowly and evenly with a fine needle or micro-cannula. Glycerol is a highly hygroscopic ingredient that, together with hyaluronic acid, creates points where moisture is retained.
Through this process, skin texture and elasticity are gradually refined, with the changes settling in over several weeks rather than immediately after the procedure.

Does it hurt? Is anesthesia used?
Numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes before the procedure, reducing discomfort during injection. Using a micro-cannula helps reduce irritation and bruising compared with a needle.
What about recovery and returning to daily life?
Redness and slight swelling at the injection sites usually subside within 24–72 hours. Daily life is possible on the day of treatment, though it is best to avoid saunas, strenuous exercise, and alcohol that day.
