Care Instructions for Flat Wart and Skin Tag Treatment
This page summarizes the instructions given during your visit. Please refer to it during your recovery after treatment.
- 1.Flat warts are a skin infection caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV); they can recur, and retreatment is needed if they do.
- 2.A burning sensation and oozing may occur on the day of treatment. A cool wet compress or cold pack using clean gauze helps relieve these symptoms.
- 3.Scabs will naturally fall off 5–8 days after the treatment.
- 4.Wash your face gently for one week after treatment, and apply the prescribed ointment in a thin layer every day.Using a regenerative cream together after applying the ointment is even better.
- 5.If regenerative tape was applied depending on the lesion, replace it once a day and use the ointment together with it.
- 6.Pay attention to moisturizer and sunscreen, and keep makeup light to minimize side effects such as pigmentation or redness.
- 7.Please apply regenerative cream frequently.
- 8.When lesions are shallow, scarring rarely occurs after treatment. However, areas other than the face, such as the neck or arms, have a slightly higher chance of scarring.
- 9.Red marks or pigmentation after treatment mostly fade within 2–3 weeks. However, depending on skin type, lesion size, and treatment depth, they may occasionally last longer.
If symptoms last longer than expected or feel uncomfortable, please do not manage them on your own — contact us at 02-565-8273.
