Aftercare Following Lifting Treatments

- 1.After the procedure, it is best to avoid hot baths, saunas, alcohol, smoking, and strenuous exercise for about 1 week, and hot or cold compresses for 2–3 days.
- 2.Makeup can be applied right after the procedure, and daily activities are not affected.
- 3.After the procedure, apply regenerating cream and moisturizer, and always apply sunscreen thoroughly when going outdoors.
- 4.On the day of the procedure, you may experience redness, a burning sensation, swelling, itching, temporary pain, small pimples, hives, or flaking, but these fade naturally over time.
- 5.With Ulthera, tip marks may appear on sensitive or contoured areas, but they disappear within a few days.
- 6.Blisters may occasionally form after a Thermage treatment; if this occurs, please contact the clinic.
- 7.The effect does not appear immediately after the procedure. As collagen and elastin regenerate over 2–3 months, the lifting effect and improvement in fine wrinkles appear over about 1–6 months after treatment. After that, aging gradually resumes over time.
- 8.After a Thermage treatment, you may feel firm nodules under the skin. These are areas coagulated by heat and mostly disappear over about 4 weeks.
- 9.If you are taking medications that increase bleeding tendency, such as aspirin or vitamin E, minor bleeding and bruising may occur, but these mostly disappear within 1–2 weeks.
